Erik Heinz

From a young age, I always enjoyed taking pictures.  The passion really grew when I got into high school, found an incredible mentor and got my first "real camera" - a Minolta 35mm.  I did it all for my high school yearbook - from shooting the games, to taking group shots and candid photos along the way- I enjoyed learning and doing all of them, but found my true passion pointing my lens between the lines shooting sports.  I am always looking to find a different perspective to capture the action, but also the raw emotion, the joy, and bond between teammates.

After putting my hobby on a shelf and being away from it for years, I picked it back up as my boys grew, I blew the dust off my skills, jumped back in and quickly realized I still loved it.  Yes, I was "THAT" Dad with the camera at every game.  Now that my kids are grown, and with encouragement from my amazing and supportive wife, family and friends, I want to share my passion with you.

Freeze the moment.  Keep the memory.

Sometimes, the best images happen between control and chaos, a moment that only exists for a split second.
